For reasons that I won't go into detail on, the girls each required early baths this evening. We stayed in and played in our pajamas all night. Lola was so excited about her new slippers and wanted to pose for pictures...

The Children's Museum
On Sunday, we went to the Children's Museum to celebrate our niece Alexis's 5th birthday. Lola had so much fun playing with the other kids and we all enjoyed spending the day with Kasey as he's been very busy with harvest. After the party, we stopped to look at some boxer puppies for sale. We had to resist, though....Hank would have been a bit jealous.

Recent Happenings
The Loschen Family has been very busy this past week. Jen went back to work teaching Special Education and coaching Cross Country at the school and Kasey began harvest this week with the farm. We have been enjoying the weekend spent at home. Here are a few pictures of this past week's events:
Ella came to our house to play today while Jes worked. The girls had so much fun together. They did some cooking in Lola's kitchen and played with their babies.
Here they are hiding from Grandma behind the chair.
Olivia enjoyed watching them play.
This was the Pancake Dinner at the fire department. Lola loved playing with the other kids and the fire trucks.
Yes, that's rice....and Lola....hiding!

Kasey's Birthday
Today is Kasey's 29th Birthday! I came across this picture taken 27 years ago. It's my favorite of him when he was a child (you can just see that wild spark in his eyes!) He spent his birthday working then had to ref a football game at night. Although we didn't have much time to celebrate, Lola was sure to serenade him by singing "Happy Birthday" each time she saw him today. Happy Birthday, Kasey!
