Maggie's First Photo Shoot
Our friends, Dennis and Cara, were blessed with their fourth little girl last month, Maggie Mae Colleen. I had taken pictures of their older three girls before Maggie was born, but have yet to post them as there were SO many! Here are a few of the precious little Maggie Mae....

A Day at Yanney Park
Our family's favorite place to visit in Kearney is Yanney Park.
It was a cloudy day, so the fountains were not as busy as usual. The girls (mostly Lola) enjoyed running through them!
They just added a new jungle gym...or should I say ship!
Lola enjoyed climbing the rock.
Liv enjoyed swinging on this bar.....
....then dropping down the slide!
Lena found the dolphin!
Wrigley even gets to join us at Yanney Park. The walking trails are long and the park is spread out so it's a great place for him to run.
The lake has some swans. This was the "daddy" swan.
This was the "mommy" swan with her babies in the distance.
Olivia was not willing to turn her back to the swan.
Lola always runs to sit with these statues.
Lola and Liv climbed the tower with Kasey.
Then it was off to the maze.
Liv followed Lola for the first journey, but soon got distracted.
Lola, on the other hand, finished with perserverance. She then went on to finish it 5 more times!
Lena did not do well at the maze!
Liv's new trick was to walk along this wall.
She was very proud of herself.
Lena climbing a hill.
To end the day....we snacked on french fries!

Dottie and Zip
This winter Kasey found two abandoned boxers along the side of the road, very thin and worn out. He brought them home and we cared for them for two weeks while we searched for their owners.
Dottie....the sweet, gentle mother to Zip.
After a week of searching for owners, Lola finally was permitted to name them.
Here Dottie is licking some enchilada sauce off of our dirty dishes.
She was a great help around the kitchen :). She was also welcome in the house much more than Zip and even our lab, Wrigley as she was VERY calm.
It was extremely difficult to get a picture of Zip as he was much more active!
Here is Zip: zipping by!
Lola is a friend to all dogs: big or small. She became very attached to both Dottie and Zip. We were very blessed to find a good home for them about an hour's drive away.

Ephesians 6:1-3
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. (KJV)

Romans 5:8
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (KJV)
Matthew 28:5-8
But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for HE IS RISEN, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7 And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. (NKJV)
